Hi!

Welcome to the FreeQuencySkinCare Blog.

Use this blog to create your spiritual hygienic routine. Each blog will end with writing prompts for journal entries. The prompts will be solution based and uplifting.

Choose a journaling method

  • a new or existing journal

  • notebook

  • virtual notebook ( Microsoft OneNote is great)

  • virtual journal entry ( the Day One App )

Have a second journal for your heavy thoughts, life may have moments that feel dark like it is closing in on you. Writing when you feel low is an opportunity to explore and purge the heaviness. It can make you feel heard and provide closure, but it is best to keep these thoughts separate so that you can burn or bury them as a form of release.

Our blog will also have tips for light work, or "manifesting", altar setups, baths, and rituals.

Yemaya governs everything in relation to women, she is the protector and is often depicted as a mermaid. Yemaya is nurturing, she watches over sea life, she is the mother of fertility and is said to watch over amniotic fluid of fetuses

You may have heard the saying " if you dream with fish, than someone is pregnant"

People are either in awe or terrified of the ocean, that is Yemaya energy she can give or take life. She shares the ocean with Olokun who is of the deep dark mysterious parts of the ocean, Yemaya is on the surface, it is her calm energy we feel in bodies of water and rocking waves. It is Olokuns energy holding the key at the floor levels and secrets of the deep oceans such as, answers to the past present and future, what happened to our ancestors who jumped ship, and "natural disasters".

Catholics, have portrayed her story as "Virgin Mary"

Prayers to Yemoja-

cleansing of sorrow and spiritual cleanses ( salt baths), heal deep wounds, heal relationships with mommy issues, heal your relationship with divine feminine energy, clarification and purification.

Obatala is the godfather of all orishas and does not have a fixed gender, his apparent is androgynous. He can be worshiped as male or female depending on the accompanying offerings / colors chosen. The main color of Obatala is white for symbolic reasons, the white light, purification, and peace. White contains 7 colors of the rainbow yet remains above them.

After consuming too much palm wine, Obatala mistakingly created deformed humans and for this reason he has the ability to be compassionate and forgiving. He also said to be the diety whom watches over disabled beings.

Prayers to Obatala include: self awareness, seeing and accepting the truth, resolution, rebuke the spirit of resentment, reconciliation, resurrection, peace in the home, healing the heart after a rough separation, bring light into the home, forgiveness, relieving grief.
